As the ORC Europeans 2024 competition approaches, both the event merchandise and the social events organized alongside the competition are becoming relevant. Since sustainability is a priority in this year's planning, we encourage participants to preorder event merchandise and register for some of the social events.

The Importance of PreOrdering Event Merchandise

There are enough wasted materials and stuff you get but don’t want to use. We wanted to make a selection of sustainable items for those of you who truly want to wear our regatta shirt or need a soft merino beanie for those chillier autumn days. The aluminium bottle by SIGG reminds us of the fact that it is safe to drink the tap water and no plastic bottles are allowed on the docks.

By preordering, we can estimate the quantity of products needed, avoid overproduction, and minimize leftover event items. This ensures that products are available for those who truly need or want them. Knowing the exact demand helps us better plan our resources from production to delivery, which reduces our carbon footprint.

For this reason, merchandise will be available in limited quantities during the event. By preordering, you ensure you don't miss out on the official merchandise and support a more sustainable event by helping us avoid the pitfalls of overproduction.

We will donate 2 euros from each sold product to the John Nurminen Foundation, which supports efforts for a cleaner Baltic Sea.
